General Terms and Conditions
International Mantrailing Camp August 19–23, 2026I. Introductory Provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: GTC) apply to all participants of the International Mantrailing Camp (hereinafter: Event) organized by the Mantrailing Training Center (hereinafter: Organizer).
Date of the Event: August 19–23, 2026.By submitting a registration and/or paying the participation fee, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accept the terms of these GTC as binding.
Personal data provided during registration must be truthful and accurate. Providing false information may result in exclusion from participation.
II. Conditions of Participation
- The Participant attends the Event at their own risk and is responsible for ensuring that their health and physical condition are suitable for participation.
- The Participant is obliged to follow the instructions and safety regulations given by the Organizer and the instructors.
- The Participant is obliged to maintain cleanliness at the campsite and training locations.
III. Conditions for Participation with a Dog
If the Participant attends the Event with a dog, the following conditions are mandatory:
- The dog must have a microchip and a valid rabies vaccination, and must be healthy and well-groomed.
- The Participant must carry the dog's vaccination booklet/pet passport at all times during the Event and present it upon request.
- If the dog has socialization issues, is aggressive, or is in heat, the Participant must immediately notify the Organizer.
- At the practical training locations, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times.
- The Participant is obliged to clean up after their dog at both the campsite and training locations.
IV. Liability
- If the Participant's dog causes personal injury or damage to another dog, animal, or property, the Participant assumes exclusive liability for such injury or damage.
- If the Participant suffers personal injury during the Event, or if their dog is injured, they are not entitled to file a claim against the Organizer. Compensation claims may only be directed against the person who caused the injury, or — if the injury was caused by a dog — against the dog's owner.
- The Participant bears full responsibility for any damage caused to the property (real estate and movable assets) belonging to the campsite.
- The Participant assumes responsibility for any damage occurring to the vehicle they are driving. They are not entitled to file a claim against the Organizer and may only direct claims against the person who caused the damage.
V. Transportation and Accessing Locations
- The Participant shall approach the practical training locations based on the route and/or GPS data provided by the Organizer and/or group leader instructors, at their own risk, taking into account road conditions and the technical condition of their vehicle, exercising due caution.
- In case of any problems, the Participant must immediately notify the group leader.
VI. Image and Audio Recordings
- The Participant consents to the fact that photo, audio, and video recordings may be made throughout the entire duration of the Event, in which the Participant may appear.
- The Participant shall not make any claims against the Organizer, the creators of the recordings, or their lawful users in connection with the making and use of such recordings.
VII. Participation Fee and Payment Terms
- Registration for the Event becomes final upon payment of the participation fee.
- The participation fee covers the cost of attending the training sessions. Travel, accommodation, and meal costs are borne by the Participant, unless the Organizer specifies otherwise.
- The participation fee is payable by bank transfer to the bank account specified by the Organizer, by the deadline set during registration.
VIII. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be submitted in writing (by e-mail) to the Organizer. The date of cancellation shall be deemed to be the date on which the written notification is received by the Organizer.
- In the event of force majeure (e.g., epidemic, natural disaster, official prohibition), the Organizer is entitled to cancel, modify, or postpone the Event. In such cases, the Organizer will offer a refund of the participation fee or the option to rebook for the new date.
IX. Exclusion from the Event
- If the Participant violates any provision of these GTC or the Liability Waiver, the Organizer is entitled to exclude the Participant from the Event with immediate effect.
- In case of exclusion, the Organizer is not obliged to refund the participation fee.
- Walking the dog off-leash during training sessions
- Concealing socialization issues
- Deliberately endangering other participants or their dogs
- Serious violations of the campsite rules
X. Data Protection
- The Organizer processes the Participant's personal data only to the extent necessary for organizing and conducting the Event, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and Freedom of Information.
- The Participant consents to the Organizer processing the data provided during registration (name, contact details, dog's data) for the purpose of organizing the Event.
XI. Final Provisions
- For matters not regulated in these GTC, the provisions of Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and the applicable Hungarian legislation shall prevail.
- The Organizer reserves the right to amend these GTC. The Organizer will notify the Participants of any amendments via the contact details provided during registration.
